Eric D. Jones, CISSP

Managing Partner
Eric Jones is an accomplished IT professional who began his dynamic career in 2003 when he enlisted in the US Air Force as a Computer Systems Operator (3C0X1). Little did he know what lay ahead in the world of technology. After serving six years on active duty in Alaska and Colorado, he’d gained a wealth of IT and cybersecurity skills in addition to completing a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from Wayland Baptist University; he was ready for the next career adventure. In the years since leaving the military, Eric has worked in a myriad of roles spanning different industries and has a deep understanding of IT and cybersecurity. One of his greatest attributes is the ability to implement systems that balance security and usability. Eric has a passion for solving technical problems with a simplified, direct approach while ensuring his clients receive the most efficient and effective solutions. He has spent the latter part of his career travelling the world designing, building, and managing IT systems both big and small. All the while completing a master’s degree focused on Cybersecurity from the University of Denver and attaining a coveted CISSP certification. Eric’s vision for Fortify is to provide agile IT services centered on value, cybersecurity, and risk mitigation for small and mid-size businesses.
